MOU signed between GSI and FOSG for "Processed Glass Testing and Certification in India

GSI had signed a MOU with Federation of Safety Glass (FOSG) for Processed Glass Testing and Certification in India on the 27th September 2013 at Jaipur in Rajasthan, India. 

 The MOU was signed by Mr Gurmeet Singh, Chairman, FOSG and Mr N G Rau, General  

Secretary, GSI in the presence of a large section of Members from Glass Manufacturers and Glass Processors in India. As part of the MOU, FOSG supported with Rs 10 Lakhs towards the part funding for the establishment of Processed Glass testing facility by GSI and IIT Madras in Chennai. 

The large section of processors present during the MOU Signing ceremony enthusiastically committed their support in testing all their products for third party certification and thereby supporting in building a Safe and Sustainable India.
